These sites are designed using a method called molecular imprinting, which makes them super specific to Sarcosine molecules.
When these nanozyme particles interact with Sarcosine, they start a special reaction that changes color. This color change can be spotted by a device, making it easy to detect even small amounts of Sarcosine in urine. The nanozyme particles are amazingly precise and can pick out Sarcosine among other molecules.
The researchers tested this method using urine samples and found that it works really well. This new way of detecting Sarcosine using nanozymes is a big step forward in the fight against prostate cancer, as it makes diagnosis simpler and quicker without any invasive procedures.
