Discovering JJ Spaun: From Family Roots to PGA Fame

Meet JJ Spaun, a 34-year-old golfer who's been making waves on the PGA Tour. Born in Los Angeles and raised in San Dimas, California, golf was a natural fit for JJ, thanks to his parents' love for the game. His mom, Dollie, played golf throughout her pregnancy, and his dad, John, nurtured his son's golf skills from a young age. John even made a hitting net at home for JJ to practice, helping him develop crucial fundamentals. JJ's journey to the PGA wasn't without detours. He once wanted to be a professional skateboarder, but his dad discouraged him, saying a simple "no. " JJ took this advice to heart and stuck with golf, eventually earning a college scholarship to San Diego State University.
