As the new year began, Disney's Hollywood Studios was buzzing with excitement. Partygoers were treated to several live entertainment events. Over at Pixar Plaza, another dance extravaganza took place with a DJ and appearances from beloved Pixar characters. A marching band and a festive Holiday Spirit Band added to the lively atmosphere. For those who love Latin beats, a street party with The Rundown took place in the Coaster Courtyard.
Special character meet-and-greets made the night even more magical. Mike Wazowski, who had recently greeted guests during Jollywood Nights, was back. Ian and Barley Lightfoot, from the movie "Onward, " also made an appearance, having previously greeted fans at Pixar Pier and during Pixar Fest. Carl and Russell from "Up" were there too, though Carl isn't usually seen at meet-and-greets. Doctor Strange, making a rare appearance, practiced his mystic arts with fans. Star-Lord and Gamora took a break from guarding the galaxy to join the fun. Even Panchito Pistoles from The Three Caballeros was spotted, though José Carioca wasn't seen.
