Disney Cruise Line’s New Playbill‑Style Posters
Mon Jun 08 2026
Disney Cruise Line has unveiled a fresh set of playbill‑style posters that showcase the shows on its ships. Each poster cleverly hides a ship image inside the design, giving fans a playful twist on traditional theater programs.
The poster for “Hercules” places the ship at the peak of a hill that Hercules is climbing. The lower half shows a menacing half‑face of Hades, adding drama to the scene.
A different approach is used for “Aladdin. ” Here the ship appears as a glowing lamp perched on a blue‑gold pedestal. A shadow in the lower portion hints at Aladdin reaching for the lamp, tying the ship imagery into the story.
The “Beauty and the Beast” poster stands out with a stained‑glass look. Belle and Beast dance in the foreground while the ship is hidden behind them, tucked to the left side of the frame.
The most subtle design belongs to “Moana. ” The ship is tucked into a wave pattern, with Moana and Maui sailing on rough waters. This subtle placement matches the oceanic theme of the show.
These posters celebrate the upcoming shows and invite guests to spot the hidden ships themselves. Disney fans can share their discoveries on social media, adding a fun scavenger‑hunt element to the cruise experience.
