Disneyland's big 70th birthday party is making a comeback in 2026. After taking a break for Halloween and Christmas, the fun will start up again on January 8th. But not everything is coming back. Some shows and parades will be missing.
The party started last May and will wrap up on August 9th, 2026. That's a long time to celebrate! But first, the holiday fun has to end. The Christmas fireworks and parades will stop on January 7th.
Some shows, like the "Wondrous Journeys" nighttime spectacular, will return but not all at once. It will start with just projections on January 8th and add fireworks the next day. The "Celebrate Happy Cavalcade" parade will also be back on January 9th.
The "Paint the Night" parade will return on January 30th. But the "Better Together" parade, which was part of the summer fun, won't be coming back after the holiday break.
Two new shows, "World of Color Happiness" and "Tapestry of Happiness, " will keep running. They started during the holidays and will continue as the rest of the 70th anniversary entertainment resumes.
So, if you're planning a trip to Disneyland, check the schedule. Some of your favorite shows might not be there, but there's still plenty of fun to be had.
