Ensuring Fair Access to Abortion Care in Argentina

To tackle this issue, a team developed the MACA questionnaire. This tool aims to measure the accessibility and quality of abortion services across Argentina. The process involved three main steps. First, experts were consulted to gather insights. Next, individuals who had undergone abortions were interviewed to ensure the questions were relevant and understandable. Finally, the questionnaire was tested in real-world settings to assess its effectiveness. The MACA questionnaire is designed to integrate seamlessly into Argentina's health system. Its purpose is to monitor the implementation of the law, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that no one is left behind. This tool is crucial because laws alone are not enough; they must be put into practice to make a real difference.
