Erin Truex's Journey: A New Chapter for Beverly Main Streets

Beverly, MA, USAWed Nov 26 2025
Erin Truex, the leader of Beverly Main Streets, has announced her departure at the end of the year. She shared her thoughts with the community, expressing gratitude and pride in the work accomplished together. Truex took on the role in early 2024 and has since driven significant revenue for local artists, advanced the Downtown 2030 initiative, and fostered a strong business and civic coalition. She emphasized that these achievements were not solely hers but a collective effort. The community's support, through donations, volunteering, and advocacy, played a crucial role. As Beverly approaches its 400th anniversary, Truex believes the best is yet to come. Before joining Beverly Main Streets, Truex worked in development and management at various organizations, including the Mabel Center for Immigrant Justice and LEAP for Education. She holds a Master's Degree from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Pacific Union College. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Healing Abuse Working for Change, a domestic violence prevention organization. Truex expressed confidence in Becki Greene, the Community Engagement Manager, to continue the organization's mission. She encouraged the community to support the new and returning staff with the same energy and passion that has driven their work over the past two years.
