When you get a lot of notifications in a short time, your device will automatically lower the volume and reduce alerts for up to 2 minutes. Don’t worry, calls, alarms, and priority conversations won’t be affected. During this cooldown, you can still access your notifications by pulling down from the top of the screen.Android 16 also introduces improved audio sharing options. You can find these settings under Connection preferences. The display settings get an update too. There's a new feature called "Even dimmer" which is replacing the old "Extra dim" Quick Settings Tile. While the preview is exciting, it does come with some known issues. For instance, tapping an ongoing media notification might not launch the corresponding app. Also, the camera screen might flash on some devices if you adjust the zoom while recording a video. Pixel 6 and 6 Pro users will be happy to know that they are supported in this update.
