Living in a fancy LA mansion and suddenly having to run for your life because of a wildfire! That’s what happened to actors Eugene Levy and James Woods. They had to leave their homes in a hurry as a wildfire near Pacific Palisades grew dangerously large. Levy found himself stuck in traffic with other people trying to escape. He said the smoke was so thick and dark over Temescal Canyon that he couldn’t even see any flames. James Woods, on the other hand, took to a social media platform called X to share his experience. He posted videos showing the fire coming close to his backyard and even a nearby house on fire.
Woods wasn’t sure if his home was safe, but he knew that some houses on his street had been destroyed. Actor Steve Guttenberg, who also lives in the area, helped out during the evacuation. He asked people who left their cars to take their keys with them so fire engines could get through. The fire started early on Tuesday and quickly spread to nearly 3, 000 acres. Strong winds were making the fire worse, and the cause of it is still unknown.
