Isaac Mizrahi, the renowned fashion designer, has some fond memories of Gwyneth Paltrow. He recently shared his experiences working with her during the 1990s. Mizrahi, who is now 64 years old, recalled how he used to create outfits for Paltrow. He mentioned this while attending the New York Film Critics Circle Awards on January 6th in New York City. During the event, Mizrahi talked about Paltrow's visits to his studio for fittings. He humorously noted that he always admired her figure, stating that she had the most impressive backside in the entertainment industry. He also praised her comedic skills and acting abilities in the movie Marty Supreme, where he played her publicist.
Mizrahi was at the awards ceremony to present the Best Screenplay Award to director Josh Safdie and his co-writer Ronald Bronstein. The film, which stars Timothée Chalamet, Fran Drescher, Odessa A'zion, and Kevin O’Leary, has received positive feedback from audiences. Mizrahi mentioned that people have compared the movie to the works of Martin Scorsese, indicating its high quality. Reflecting on his collaboration with Safdie, Mizrahi shared that he has known the director since he was a child. He met Safdie through a mutual friend and worked with him on small film projects in 2008. Mizrahi expressed his confidence in Safdie's talent, believing that the director was creating something significant. In addition to his work in fashion and film, Mizrahi is preparing for his return to the Café Carlyle. He will be presenting an all-new show called A. I. Artificial Isaac, which promises an evening of music, commentary, and his signature charm.
