Fireworks and Family: Trump's Inauguration Weekend Kickoff

President-elect Donald Trump and his family got things started with a bang at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. They enjoyed a dazzling fireworks display during a big party on Saturday night. The show began just before 10 p. m. , and everyone was thrilled. Trump didn't miss the chance to share his thoughts on social media. He posted about a case against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James, questioning a judge's actions. Afterward, he posted a long video of him and his wife, Melania, watching the fireworks together.The future president was in a dancing mood too! He showed off one of his signature moves in front of the crowd. The party was a star-studded event, with guests like cabinet nominees Pete Hegseth and Lee Zeldin. Trump's kids, Don Jr. , Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany, were also there. Even an Elvis impersonator performed earlier in the night. Trump and his family traveled from Florida to Washington, D. C. , on an Air Force plane to kick off the inauguration weekend. On Sunday, they'll lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery. Then, they'll have a big rally inside the Capital One Arena. The big day is Monday, when Trump will take the oath to become the 47th President of the United States. Due to cold weather, the ceremony will happen indoors at the Capital Rotunda for the first time in decades.
