Florida's Theme Parks Back in Action After Hurricane Milton

After the storm, Florida's theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld, reopened their doors to guests. But while the fun was back on, the aftermath of Hurricane Milton was still felt by many. The storm left at least 16 people dead and over 340 rescued. Plus, around 2 million people were still without power. Disney World announced that its theme parks and Disney Springs shopping center were running as usual on Friday. The company even extended ticket redemption for guests who missed out due to the closure on Thursday. Hurricane Milton, which hit Florida on Wednesday, caused quite a mess. Despite the cleanup efforts, some folks were still in the dark, both literally and figuratively. It's a reminder that while life can go on, recovery takes time. The storm also disrupted travel, with flights in and out of Orlando International Airport being canceled on Wednesday. But by Thursday and Friday, things were back in motion.
