Fort Worth’s $17M Mansion: Celeb Spotting in Texas?

Fort Worth, USAWed Jan 15 2025
A recently built mansion in Fort Worth, valued at almost $17 million, has caught the attention of some well-known faces. Last month, it topped the list of Texas' priciest homes. Nine out of the top ten expensive homes are located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to the Houston Association of Realtors. The home, situated at 3736 Aviemore Drive, spans nearly 8, 000 square feet on a one-acre lot. It features four bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and one partial bath. The contemporary two-story house blends the classic style of a 1950s ranch with modern amenities. These include a heated pool, an infinity pool with a hot tub, and a secret wine cellar hidden behind a bookshelf in the office. Breah Brown of Douglas Elliman Real Estate is handling the listing. She mentioned that several guests have toured the property, including a famous actor and director. Although she couldn't confirm, she believes Kevin Costner might have been one of the visitors. Costner has been spotted in the area, having received the key to the city of Irving in June for his contributions to entertainment. The home is equipped with state-of-the-art features like Lutron lighting, smart TVs in every bedroom, and heated bathroom floors. It also includes a theater room and a workout room with a sauna. One unique feature is the island in the kitchen, which can be filled with ice to store drinks during parties. The property's hilltop location offers stunning sunsets and an abundance of natural light. Brown plans to schedule sunset showings to highlight the property's beauty.
