Did you know Frank Fritz? He was a big name in the world of antiques and motorcycles. From a young age, he loved motorbikes. You could find him fixing up his 1959 Harley-Davidson Sportster for hours! As he grew older, his passion only got stronger. In fact, he even made it to the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame in 2019.
But Frank wasn't just about motorcycles. He also had a big heart for antiques and vintage stuff. Along with his friend Mike Wolfe, they co-hosted "American Pickers. " They traveled all over the U. S. , looking for rare treasures to sell or keep for themselves. What made Frank special? His enthusiasm was contagious, and he could connect with anyone.
Frank and Mike were more than just friends; they were adventure buddies. Together, they found hidden gems and unexpected treasures. Their bond was built on trust, respect, and a love for hunting down unique finds.
Life wasn't always easy for Frank. In 2022, he had a stroke that made him think about his priorities. Even so, he stayed committed to his passions and kept working at his antiques store in Savanna, Illinois.
Sadly, Frank passed away on September 30, 2024. His friend Mike Wolfe was with him when it happened. Mike shared a heartfelt message about how Frank brought people together and had a unique sense of humor.
