Ever heard of G. Skill? They've just introduced two new kinds of DDR5 RAM called Trident Z5 CK and Trident Z5 CK RGB. These are for the latest Intel Core Ultra 200 processors and Z890 chipset motherboards. The cool thing? They're rated for DDR5-9600 right out of the box. How do they manage that? They use something called CUDIMM technology, which makes the signal between the memory and CPU more stable.
Want to know the best part? You don't need to mess around with the BIOS settings. All you do is plug them into a Z890 motherboard, and you're good to go. For those who want even more speed, there's a 48GB kit (2x24GB) that runs at DDR5-9000. In their tests, G. Skill managed to hit DDR5-10000 speeds using air cooling and top-notch Z890 boards from Asus and ASRock.
These new RAMs look nice too, with a sleek black brushed aluminum heatspreader. Or you could pick the RGB versions with a lightstrip. However, you'll need Z890 hardware to get the full DDR5-9600 potential. Intel's Core Ultra 200 CPUs only support up to DDR5-6400 or DDR5-5600 with standard DIMMs. Also, these are only for Intel chips, as AMD EXPO support isn't available yet.
So, if you're building a high-end Intel-based system, these could be the fastest RAM you can get. The Trident Z5 CK and Trident Z5 CK RGB DDR5-9600 kits are available at Newegg. com.
