Gable Steveson: From WWE to NFL and Back to Wrestling

Professional athlete Gable Steveson has had quite the journey. He was let go by WWE in May and then tried his hand at the NFL. Neither worked out as planned. But instead of giving up, he returned to his roots in NCAA wrestling. When asked about the challenges of different sports, Steveson had some interesting insights. He believes that wrestling, both in the amateur and professional ranks, is the most demanding. It requires not just strength, but also mental toughness and quick thinking. Steveson should know; he's an Olympic gold medalist and a former WWE star. After his disappointing stints in the WWE and NFL, Steveson went back to wrestling. He even attended a wrestling event, the Ilio DiPaolo’s Nickel City Duals 2024, to support new talent. He's always been a wrestling loyalist at heart. And it shows in his performance. Back in the NCAA, he's been dominating, with a record like 54-0. His approach to the sport is straightforward: find the weak spots in opponents and exploit them. It's no surprise that he's leading his team, the Minnesota Gophers, to victory after victory. Steveson might have faced setbacks, but he's proved that he's a force to be reckoned with in the wrestling world.
