Terrance Lindsey-Bynum, a 33-year-old from Gary, Indiana, was given time served for threatening a Regional Health Systems worker over the phone. The incident happened on Valentine's Day, February 14. Lindsey-Bynum, who was a patient at Regional, called the employee to ask for housing help. He grew upset and made threats after feeling disrespected. The worker reported he said, "The Demon is coming out, " and threatened to harm the facility. Later, dressed in all black with a ski mask, Lindsey-Bynum showed up at the facility with guns in his car. Police, already alerted, stopped him. Though weapons were found, no one was hurt. Lindsey-Bynum pleaded guilty to intimidation, a Level 5 felony, on November 6. He had already served the one-year sentence by the time of his plea deal. Prosecutors dropped an attempted murder charge due to lack of evidence.
