Unfortunately, Beck won't be playing due to an elbow injury he picked up during the SEC Championship Game against Texas. This marks the end of Beck's college football career. Beck took a moment to express his gratitude in his statement. He thanked God for the opportunity to play the game he loves and highlighted the life lessons football has taught him. He also shared his love for the University of Georgia, where he's enjoyed the past five years. Beck is now ready to take the next step in his football journey. Throughout his career, Beck has racked up an impressive 7, 912 passing yards and 58 touchdowns. In his final season, he completed 64. 7% of his passes for 3, 485 yards with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Although he was initially considered a top pick for the 2025 NFL Draft, his performance this season has led to a dip in his draft stock. Beck's injury could also affect his draft position. Georgia confirmed that he underwent successful surgery to repair his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) and is expected to make a full recovery by spring 2025. With Beck out, Georgia's upcoming games will feature Gunner Stockton as the starting quarterback. Stockton is also likely to lead the team in 2025.
