Orlando, USAThu Oct 17 2024
Get set for some incredible fun! Universal Orlando just revealed that their brand-new Epic Universe park is set to open its doors on May 22, 2025. This exciting theme park, dubbed the most ambitious project by NBCUniversal, will feature five amazing worlds. Each world will have its own unique portal entrance, offering experiences based on popular NBCUniversal and other franchises.
One of the worlds is a fresh take on the Harry Potter universe, called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. There's also a How To Train Your Dragon world, a Super Nintendo World, and a dark universe inspired by classic Universal Monsters like Frankenstein and The Mummy.
Karen Irwin, the President and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, shared her excitement: "This is a big moment for us. We can't wait to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year. With this new park, their vacation will be packed with thrills that are truly epic! "
The same day will also see the opening of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a new resort by Loews that will give guests a direct entry to Epic Universe. Initially, Universal is offering limited ticket packages. You can buy three, four, or five-day tickets, with at least one day spent at Epic Universe and the rest at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.
For those planning a longer stay, there's a deal offering discounts on seven-day vacation packages that include a stay at a Universal resort. Universal promises to roll out more ticket options in the future.
