Google's AI Future: Pixel 9 and Project Astra Coming Soon

Mountain View, California, USAWed Oct 30 2024
At Google's I/O event in May, CEO Sundar Pichai gave us a sneak peek into the future with Project Astra. He mentioned that this innovative project, which lets AI see and understand the world, would be available on Gemini Live by the end of this year. But there's a twist! It might not be fully available until 2025. We're not sure if the delay is for everyone or just a limited release this year. It's exciting to think that Astra could be used in more than one way, like on phones and glasses. Right now, Gemini Live is open to all users, but it's still in its early stages. It can handle general info chats, but it can't access your Gmail or Google Calendar yet. Personally, I'd rather have that feature first. Pichai also teased that Google is working on improving their AI models. They've already had two versions of Gemini, and the third one is on its way. Gemini 2. 0 might be announced in December. Google is also planning to use Gemini in more of their services, like Gmail, Android, Maps, and YouTube. The Pixel 9 series is doing great too! It's been getting lots of praise and awards. People are really liking the advanced AI models in these new devices.
