Gunfire in Towson: One Dead, Nine Hurt

Tuesday evening saw a tragic event unfold in Towson. Nine people were injured and one life was lost in a mass shooting at the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and White Oak Avenue, where the Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home is located. The police were called to the scene around 7:12 p. m. and found a flipped and burning car along with multiple victims. It was initially unclear how many people had been shot, but witnesses mentioned hearing numerous gunshots. The police later confirmed that the incident was targeted and intentional, involving people who knew each other.Though the shooting happened near a funeral home, it wasn't related to any business there as the building was closed. The police are thoroughly investigating the case, including other scenes in the neighborhood where gunfire was heard. Both the police chief and the county executive expressed their shock and offered their support to the affected individuals.
