Heartbreak in Bohodukhiv: A Drone Strike Leaves a Family Devastated

In the quiet town of Bohodukhiv, about 60 kilometres west of Kharkiv, a tragedy unfolded when a Russian drone struck a house that had become a refuge for a Ukrainian family. The attack claimed the lives of three young children – two boys, one year old each, and a girl, two years old – along with their 34‑year‑old father. The mother, who was 35 weeks pregnant, and the grandmother sustained serious injuries; both are currently fighting for their lives in hospital.The family had fled their eastern home only a few days earlier, hoping to find safety.
