Heidi Klum's Scary Halloween Transformation: Medusa Comes to Life
Heidi Klum outdid herself once again with her Halloween costume, this year transforming into Medusa, the mythical creature from Greek mythology. Her look was so incredibly detailed that it was hard to believe it was just a costume.
A Mythical Transformation
- Snakes seemed to slither out of her head
- Eyes that resembled a reptile's
- Husband Tom Kaulitz matched her as a knight, complete with stone-like makeup
Klum had hinted at her costume earlier, describing it as "very ugly" and "very scary." She shared pictures and videos of the lengthy preparation process, which included:
- A bald cap
- Prosthetics
- Special contact lenses
- Even her tongue was altered to fit the look
The costume was so impressive that it moved realistically, making her transformation even more believable.
The Event and the Makers
The annual Halloween party took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City. Last year, Klum dressed as E.T., mentioning it took a year to prepare. This year's Medusa costume was designed by Prosthetic Renaissance, the same team behind the makeup for HBO's "The Penguin." They won an Emmy for their work, showcasing their exceptional skills.
A Legacy of Halloween Love
Klum has always loved Halloween and started her annual party in 2000. She fell in love with the holiday when she moved to America. Her elaborate costumes have inspired her guests to dress up more creatively over the years. She believes her love for Halloween has helped others enjoy it too.
