Help Find a Dog: Eau Claire Health Department Needs Your Eyes

Fri Dec 06 2024
Hey folks, the Eau Claire City-County Health Department is on a mission to track down a dog that gave a teen girl a bite on December 3 at 3 p. m. The incident took place on W. Moholt Drive in Eau Claire. The dog's walker was spotted as an older woman dressed cozily in a jacket and hat. The dog itself? A medium-sized black short-haired furball, possibly a Labrador mix. Why the search? Finding this pooch is crucial to check its health and make sure it's not carrying rabies. If not found, there’s a risk of another bite, which could lead to costly rabies shots for the victim. So, if you know something about this dog, give the Eau Claire Communications Center a call at 715-839-4972.
