Lincoln County is stepping up to help residents after recent storms. A Winter Storm Resource Center will open its doors in Libby next week. It will be at the Memorial Events Center on E. Lincoln Blvd. The center will be open from noon to 8 p. m. on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30. People can visit to get info and support. Local churches, nonprofits, and volunteer groups will be there. Water is still a big issue. The boil water advisory is still in effect. Officials are working to fix this. Bulk water is available at the Red Cross center. Residents can get two cases of bottled water per household. The Red Cross is still helping at the Memorial Events Center. Call 1-800-733-2767 for assistance. Rep. Tom Millett shared updates on federal help. Teams from Florida and FEMA are coming to assess the damage. They will start their work by Dec. 30. Power outages are mostly fixed. Only a few customers are still without power. Utility workers have been working hard to restore services.
