High School Ultimate Stars Shine in 2026 Playoffs

Burlington, Vermont, USA,Wed Jun 17 2026
The Burlington Free Press has named an All‑Championship squad for boys and girls Ultimate after the spring playoffs. They chose players who helped their teams win titles or push close to victory. The girls’ team includes Marlie Bushey from Milton High School, who finished her career with a state title. She scored two goals and helped set up seven others in Milton’s upset win over Champlain Valley. Bushey worked well with teammate Saj Saunders and was solid in defense. Saunders, also from Milton, tallied five goals in the same game, leading her team to its first championship. She also added two assists and was a key scorer early on.
For boys, Champlain Valley Union High School dominates the list. Senior Julian Olin hit the overtime winner in the 14‑13 final against Milton and finished with two goals. He also contributed a pass break‑up in the semifinal. Ethan Revoir, another senior from CVU, recorded a hat trick in that same overtime victory. He was active all four playoff games, adding goals and assists in the semifinal and breaking up passes. Will Wallace, CVU senior, played a major role throughout the playoffs. He scored three goals, handed out 15 assists, and broke up three passes in the championship run. The press will release similar teams for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and tennis later this week. Readers can vote for the boys’ and girls’ MVPs on June 22, with all names listed above on the ballot.
