Hornets' Games Hit Local TVs Free: A Win for Sports Fans!

Get ready, sports fans! The Charlotte Hornets have teamed up with Palmetto Sports & Entertainment to bring you five basketball games live on free, over-the-air TV this season. This is the first time since 2007-08 that Hornets games will be available without cable or satellite in the Carolinas. Thanks to a partnership with Gray Media, Capitol Broadcasting, and FanDuel Sports Southeast, you can catch the action on WIS channel 10. 4 and WTES channel 35. 2 in Columbia and the Midlands.
So, mark your calendars for the following games:
- Los Angeles Lakers on January 27 at 7:00 PM
- Los Angeles Clippers on January 31 at 7:00 PM
- Milwaukee Bucks on February 5 at 7:00 PM
- @ Dallas Mavericks on February 27 at 8:30 PM
- Golden State Warriors on March 3 at 7:00 PM
The Hornets are eager to grow their fanbase and make their games more accessible. "We're excited to bring more fans into the Hornets family, " said Shelly Cayette-Weston, the team's President of Business Operations.
Sandy Breland, Chief Operating Officer of Gray, shares the enthusiasm. "We're thrilled to bring the Charlotte Hornets to over-the-air viewers across the Carolinas, " she said.
The broadcast team features Eric Collins on play-by-play, Dell Curry as the analyst, and Shannon Spake as the host/sideline reporter. Gray Media will show the games simultaneously with FanDuel Sports Southeast's production.
