India's AI Boom: Nvidia Partners with Indian Companies

Nvidia is making waves in India by teaming up with several major companies to bring its AI technology to the country. The U. S. -based chip designer has inked deals with big names like Reliance and Tech Mahindra. These partnerships aim to build infrastructure and develop AI models in Hindi, among other things.
At a recent AI Summit in Mumbai, Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, announced these collaborations. He predicts that India will shift from exporting software to exporting AI in the future. Companies like Infosys and Wipro are already using Nvidia's software to create custom AI applications for clients.
Tata Communications and Yotta Data Services plan to buy and use thousands of Nvidia's latest H100 chips by the end of the year. This move underscores the growing demand for AI technology in India.
Indian tech giants like Flipkart and Zoho are also jumping on board. They will use Nvidia’s tech to build large language models in Hindi. Startups like CoRover. ai are already leveraging Nvidia’s technology, with their chatbot handling over 150, 000 queries daily for Indian Railways.
Nvidia has trained over 500, 000 Indian developers and 225, 000 employees from Wipro alone on its AI platforms. This highlights the company's commitment to expanding its AI footprint in India.
