Women were segregated, punished for disobedience, and even executed in cruel ways. Universities were cleansed of liberal thinkers, and public life was filled with propaganda promoting women's subservience. Those who resisted faced severe punishments, including torture and death. The 2022 death of Mahsa Amini by the morality police sparked widespread protests, known as Woman Life Freedom, demanding regime change. Despite brutal crackdowns, the spirit of resistance remains strong. The fight for women's rights in Iran is far from over, and it's crucial for the world to support these courageous women.
