Iran's Plot to Assassinate Trump Revealed

Listen up! It turns out Iran wanted to get rid of President Trump. This isn't some movie plot, it's real life. The Justice Department just revealed that an Iranian guy named Farhad Shakeri was hired to plan Trump's assassination. Shakeri said an Iranian official told him money wasn't an issue and they were rushing the plan because they thought Trump would lose the election. This isn't the first time Iran has tried to cause trouble in the U. S. Last summer, they tried to target American officials too. Iran's not a fan of Trump because he ended a nuclear deal and put sanctions back on them. Plus, they're still mad that Trump ordered the killing of their general. Shakeri is still in Iran, but two men he recruited were arrested for planning to kill an Iranian-American journalist. The journalist, Masih Alinejad, has had three attempts on her life. She said she came to America for freedom of speech and doesn't want to die. The U. S. government needs to keep everyone safe.
