Is DEI the Problem or the Solution?

Women often earn less and face more harassment at work. Critics of DEI say we should go back to the old ways. But the old ways had problems too. Things like legacy admissions in colleges favor some people over others. This is not fair. DEI programs try to fix these problems. They want to give everyone a fair chance. Studies show that when DEI works well, it makes organizations better. People feel more included and happy at work. Instead of giving up on DEI, we should find ways to make it work better. We need to keep learning and improving. The goal is to create a fair and inclusive society.
