Isaias Path Uncertain, Strength Debated

People currently seem to think that Isaias will probably skip Louisiana and Mississippi as a hurricane. The mood there is clearly leaning toward no impact. When it comes to Alabama, opinions are split. A slight edge exists for the idea that the storm could make landfall there, but many remain doubtful.

Regarding the storm’s strength, views are mixed. Some expect Isaias to reach a certain strength level, while others believe it will stay weaker than that mark. The overall feeling appears to be leaning toward the weaker side, though the debate is still active.

Looking at October earthquake chances, the dominant tone is doubtful. Most people think there will be no strong quakes reaching the stated benchmark worldwide. A smaller group thinks maybe one could happen, but the general expectation is that such events are unlikely.

For the upcoming El Niño, the expectation is that the peak RONI will stay below a certain level. Few think it might reach that level but not go higher. As for Koguma, the majority feel it will remain below severe tropical storm grade. A smaller segment sees it becoming a strong typhoon, and an even smaller number thinks it could turn into a very strong typhoon.
