Jessica Knight's New Friend and Parker's Old Enemy
Washington D.C., USATue Nov 26 2024
This week on NCIS, Jessica Knight made an unexpected friend while solving a case that dug up a long-lost past. Let's break down what happened.
The episode started with a robbery at the penthouse of Freddy and Melinda Radmore. At first, it seemed like Freddy was the target because of his government contracts. But the real target was Melinda, and Jessica Knight was assigned to protect her. Melinda was rude at first, not liking Knight's clothes or manners. But they found common ground playing doubles tennis at a country club.
It turned out Melinda wasn't who she said she was. Her real name was April Day, a girl from a trailer park who took on a new identity to escape a crime family. April had a daughter she gave up for adoption to protect her. Now, that daughter was in danger because the crime family was back.
Meanwhile, Alden Parker had history with the crime family's matriarch, Carla Morino. He used to work on her case back when he was at the FBI. When Carla was caught, Parker couldn't keep her. But it looks like we haven't seen the last of her.
This episode was full of surprises. It showed how Knight can make friends outside of work and how Parker's past can come back to haunt him. It's nice to see these personal stories mixed into the usual NCIS crime-solving.
