Jim Ross: Beating Cancer and Returning to the Ring

Jim Ross, a well-known wrestling commentator, has some great news to share. He recently beat colon cancer. This happened just a month after he had surgery. He talked about this on his podcast called Grilling JR.
Ross said, \\"I'm feeling really good now. The cancer is gone, and I'm happy about that. \\" He also mentioned that he wants to go to the AEW: All in Texas event in July. He's hoping to be there and enjoy the show.
Colon cancer is a serious thing. Ross is glad he didn't have any big problems with it. He said, \\"I'm feeling pretty good. I hope to make it to Texas. That's my plan. \\"
Ross is 73 years old and a WWE Hall of Famer. He's also in the NWA and Wrestling Observer Newsletter Halls of Fame. He's been working for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2019.
This isn't the first time Ross has dealt with cancer. In 2021, he had skin cancer. He talked about it on social media and said he was \\"cancer free\\" two months after his diagnosis. He also said he wanted to go back to commenting for AEW.
Ross had surgery for his colon cancer on May 27. He said the surgery was not too bad and that he would recover in about a week. He even posted a selfie from the hospital, saying he was \\"ready to kick this cancer out on its a--! \\"
