This decision was made by appeals judges. They did not accept Israel's request to halt the probe. The investigation includes events after the October 7, 2023, attack by Hamas. This attack led to a war in Gaza. The ICC's decision means that the arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense chief Yoav Gallant are still valid.Israel does not recognize the ICC's authority.
