KC's Sports Love: A Business Boom!
Kansas City, MO, Leawood, USAMon Oct 07 2024
You might have heard that Kansas City has had a big year for sports. From winning the Super Bowl to having a stellar run in Major League Baseball (MLB) playoffs, and even building the first-ever professional women’s soccer stadium in the city center, KC is making a name for itself with its dedicated athletes and fans.
Local businesses are noticing this enthusiasm and jumping on board by creating unique items that represent these sports teams. They’re doing it their way, offering everything from T-shirts to specialty foods to help fans show off their team spirit. Scott Cruse, the owner of Love Letters boutique, explained, "We sell officially licensed college and pro merchandise, and my wife designs custom stuff. Kansas City loves its teams, and we love that! "
This past Sunday, the Fall Chick Event in Leawood, Kansas, was a hub for these products. Around 150 vendors set up shop, displaying their creative takes on Chiefs and Royals gear, as well as merchandise from Missouri and Kansas universities. You could find almost anything you needed to cheer on your team – even snacks and drinks!
Love Letters boutique has been part of this scene since 2013. They’ve built a reputation for keeping up with what KC sports fans want, offering items like vintage bomber jackets, custom-made shoes, festive accessories, and more.
If you missed the Fall Chick Event, don't worry! There will be another one in the spring at Town Center Plaza in Leawood. Mark your calendars, because this is an event you won’t want to miss.
