Kid Cudi Cuts M. I. A. From Tour After Controversial Stage Talk

Kid Cudi decided to drop M. I. A. from his “Rebel Ragers Tour” after the artist sparked backlash during a Dallas opening act. During her set, M. I. A. announced she is a “brown Republican voter” and made remarks that many in the crowd found offensive, leading to boos and a viral clip on social media. Cudi had warned M. I. A. ’s team beforehand that his shows would not tolerate inflammatory comments. He posted the change on Instagram, noting he had already sent a notice to her management and that fan messages were “flooding” him with complaints.The tour began in Phoenix on April 28 and will finish in Chula Vista on June 27. Other planned guests included Big Boi, A‑Trak and Dot Da Genius, but M. I. A. ’s spot was removed after the Dallas incident. M. I. A. responded on X, calling critics “fueling division” and stating she is not eligible to vote in the U. S. She also explained that her “illegal” remark was a reference to a 2010 song and that visa issues had left half her crew absent.
