Sat Jun 14 2025
Konami recently held a live event to give fans a sneak peek at upcoming games. The event was all about showing off new features and updates for some of their most popular series. Two big games stole the show: Metal Gear Solid Delta and Silent Hill f.
The first big reveal was for Metal Gear Solid Delta. This game is getting a new online multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt. In this mode, players will have to sneak around and avoid being caught, or try to catch others. There are also other competitive modes like Snake vs. Monkey and Snake vs. Bomberman. The game is set to launch on August 28, and pre-orders are already open. This is a big deal for fans of the series, as it adds a new way to play and interact with others online.
Silent Hill f was another major highlight. This game is set in 1960s Japan and draws inspiration from Japanese folklore. The creators have teamed up with writer Ryukishi07 and composer Akira Yamaoka to bring this game to life. Fans got a brief look at a remake of the original Silent Hill, confirming that it is still in development. Silent Hill f is scheduled to release on September 25, and pre-orders started right after the event.
Beyond these two big titles, Konami showed off a variety of other games. Sports fans can look forward to eFootball, a soccer simulator, and MLB Pro Spirit, a baseball game. There's also a game based on the popular trading card game Yu-Gi-Oh! For those who enjoy indie games, titles like Deliver At All Costs, Darwin's Paradox! , and Survival Kids were showcased. Retro gamers will be happy to know that Gradius Origins and Suikoden Star-Leap are getting new releases. Suikoden Star-Leap is now available on Steam, iOS, and Android.
To make things even better, Konami offered a sale on some of their games on Steam. The Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is now 50% off, which is a great deal for fans of the series.
