LA Fires: Celebs React to Arson Suspect

The Lakeview, Cedar, and Oakwood wildfires have been burning across Los Angeles since Tuesday. Two more started on Wednesday and Thursday: Berkley, north of the city, and Evelyn, near Ventura County's border. The fires have claimed ten lives, forced 180, 000 evacuations, and destroyed many homes. A homeless man in his thirties is suspected for the Evelyn fire. Reality star Khloé Kardashian and actor James Woods shared their views on the alleged arsonist. Khloé posted a news clip about the suspect on her Instagram Stories, expressing anger. James Woods posted a blurry photo of the suspect on X, linking the fire to "climate change. "California's wildfires have always been severe, but global warming has made them more frequent and intense. By December 2024, over 8, 000 wildfires had burned more than one million acres in the state. James Woods has previously questioned climate change on X, blaming it on political leaders. The suspect was arrested by citizens soon after the Evelyn fire began. Other celebrities, like Henry Winkler and Alison Sweeney, also suspected arson before the arrest.
