X Mayo is teaming up with CBS and Kapital Entertainment for a new comedy series. This time, the show is set at a federal agency, specifically the TSA. The project, called "Checkpoint, " is based on X Mayo's own experiences working as a TSA agent. It follows the lives of TSA officers as they balance their jobs, relationships, and friendships while keeping their sanity and the country safe. X Mayo and Mike Sikowitz are co-writing and executive producing the show. Sikowitz has a lot of experience in comedy, having worked on shows like "The Goldbergs" and "Dr. Ken. " This isn't the first time X Mayo and Aaron Kaplan from Kapital Entertainment have worked together. They previously collaborated on "American Auto. " X Mayo has been busy with other projects too. She's starring in Disney+'s "Wonder Man" series and has roles in "Loot, " "Abbott Elementary, " and the "Scrubs" reboot. She's also been in movies like "Freakier Friday. " CBS and Kapital Entertainment have other shows in the works as well. They're developing a drama series called "Watson" and a new season of "The Neighborhood. " They also recently launched "Crutch" on Paramount+.
