Leo's Big Night and Other Awards Season Fun

Leonardo DiCaprio was the center of attention at the BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles. This event, hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, is a big deal during awards season. It's a chance for stars to mingle over tea, cocktails, and some tasty snacks like smoked salmon and Welsh rarebit. DiCaprio is having a great awards season. His movie "One Battle After Another" has a lot of nominations. He's up for awards at the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The movie already won best picture at the Critics Choice Awards. At the party, DiCaprio was with his family and fans. He took photos with his co-star Teyana Taylor and posed for selfies with fans. Security had to escort him and his family out through a side exit to avoid the crowd.The BAFTA Tea Party is usually a low-key event, but it's always full of stars. Kate Hudson was there too. She's nominated for her role in "Song Sung Blue. " She talked to Aimee Lou Wood from "White Lotus" and joked about her family's competitive game nights. Kevin O'Leary, known for "Shark Tank, " was also at the party. He's in a movie called "Marty Supreme. " He told a wild story about Timothee Chalamet. In one scene, O'Leary's character has to punish Chalamet's character with a paddle. The paddle broke, so O'Leary had to use a real one. He said he hit Chalamet hard, and the paddle's logo might have left a mark. O'Leary thought about keeping the paddle as a souvenir. He estimated it could be worth a lot of money. But he knew he couldn't take it from the set.
