One standout player is Lexie Almodovar from Dayton, who's been making waves despite her team's loss to Nebraska. Lexie, the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, has a remarkable family history in sports. Her grandfather, Billy Keller, was a basketball legend at Purdue and with the ABA-era Pacers. He won three championships and coached at both the University of Indianapolis and Brebeuf Jesuit. Lexie's mother, Jill, was a basketball and volleyball champ, while her father, Norman, played volleyball for Puerto Rico. Even Lexie's brother, Luke, is following in their footsteps, committing to the University of Saint Francis for basketball. With such a strong sports heritage, it's no surprise Lexie is excelling.
