Nancy Guthrie, 84, vanished from her Tucson home on February 1 after a masked intruder tampered with a doorbell camera. The incident triggered an international search for the missing woman, who may or may not still be alive.
Her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, posted a heartfelt video on Instagram in which she announced that the family will pay up to $1 million for anyone who can help locate Nancy. The message acknowledges that the mother may have already passed away but keeps hope alive.
The family’s pledge follows a $100, 000 reward from the FBI for any information that leads to Nancy’s whereabouts. Both offers are still active and encourage anyone with clues to come forward.
Authorities have not yet identified a suspect. Two ransom‑like notes were sent to media outlets, but no direct contact has been made with the family or police. A DNA sample from a glove found near Nancy’s house did not match anyone in national databases, eliminating that lead.
In addition to the monetary reward, the Guthries have donated $500, 000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This contribution supports other families dealing with missing loved ones.
The case has attracted worldwide attention, but no new evidence has surfaced since February 17. The family’s public appeal remains a key strategy in the ongoing search.
