A Bond That Spanned Decades: Albert Brooks Reflects on His Friendship with Rob Reiner

Albert Brooks, a well-known comedian and actor, is still grappling with the loss of his longtime friend, Rob Reiner. The two first crossed paths in a drama class at Beverly Hills High School when they were just teenagers. Brooks shared his feelings of disbelief and shock over Reiner's passing in an upcoming CBS special. Reiner and his wife, Michele, were tragically found dead in their Los Angeles home on December 14th. Their son, Nick, is currently facing first-degree murder charges. " Before that, the two had only worked together once, in the 1999 film "The Muse. " Reiner hired Brooks for the role, and Brooks appreciated the opportunity.
