In the heart of Victoria, Australia, a new aquatic center is making waves. The Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre, designed by Peddle Thorp Architects, is more than just a place to swim. It is a space where health, learning, and culture come together. The center is set to open in 2025. It covers an area of 2333 square meters. This is not just a big number. It represents a big idea. The center aims to blend wellness, education, and culture in one place. The design team is led by Socrati Seretis. Rob Alessi is in charge of the sports aspect. Alex Davies is the project architect. Robert Abajas and Wenting Gan provide technical support. Building Engineering is the main contractor.The center uses products from various manufacturers. These include AGROB BUCHTAL, Fairview, Keystone Linings & Acoustic, Laminex, Lysaght, and Megasorber. The center is built with the help of Northrop Consulting Engineers. NJM Design provides service engineering. Hydrautech Designs is the pool engineer. Ratio Planning handles town planning. The Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre is not just a building.
