They already had a connection in Montgomery and were looking to expand. Billy Murdoch, the operations manager at AEC Supply, said they wanted to keep the Schaefer Greenhouses name because of its rich history. They plan to invest in the business and offer more products to both contractors and home gardeners.The current workforce of around 45 people will stay on. AEC Supply plans to use their logistical expertise to improve delivery services. They also plan to give the greenhouse some much-needed updates. This includes new signage and possibly expanding the property. AEC Supply is committed to a smooth transition.
