A New Leader Steps Up for Arkansas Schools

A big change is happening in Arkansas schools. Zondria Campbell just got a huge job. She is now the Director of Schools for The Academies of Math and Science (AMS) in Arkansas. This means she will lead the Little Rock campus and help open new schools all over the state. Campbell has spent over 20 years in education. She has done many jobs, like teaching, counseling, and being a principal. This gives her a lot of knowledge about running schools well. She knows how to help students learn and grow. Before this job, Campbell was the principal at Joe T. Robinson Middle School. There, she made big improvements. Students did better in school, and teachers worked together more. She also focused on helping students feel good about themselves and their schoolwork.Campbell has lots of education too. She has degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Harding University, and is now working on her doctorate. She studies how to make schools in Arkansas even better. In her new role, Campbell will work with teachers, parents, and the community. She wants to make sure every AMS school is a great place for students to learn and grow. She believes in using data to make good decisions and setting high standards. People are excited about Campbell's new job. They think she will help AMS grow and make a big difference in Arkansas schools.
