The University of Arkansas Police Department is looking into a robbery that took place around 2 p. m. Monday close to the Bell Engineering Center and Science‑Engineering Hall. An alert was sent to students, explaining that a person had taken property from someone in the area.
Assistant Police Chief Matt Mills said no weapons were used during the incident. He also noted that police are still working on the investigation and do not have more details to share right now.
The person suspected of the robbery is described as a male with a light or fair skin tone. He was seen wearing a purple shirt and reportedly fled south from the scene after the theft.
