Adobe has just dropped some cool new AI tools for Premiere and After Effects. These updates are all about making video editing faster and easier.
In Premiere, there's a new AI-powered Object Mask feature. It lets you pick and track moving objects or people in your clips. Just hover and click, and boom! A mask is created in seconds. The best part? You can tweak it if needed. Adobe says its AI model does all the heavy lifting right on your device. No data is used to train its models, so your privacy is safe.
The Shape Mask tool got a makeover too. Now you can create Ellipse, Rectangle, and Pen masks straight from the toolbar. The controls are more precise, and the masks track objects 20 times faster. This means less waiting and more editing.
Adobe also made it easier to bring media from Firefly Boards into Premiere. Plus, Adobe Stock is now fully integrated, giving you more assets at your fingertips.
Over in After Effects, Adobe added support for SVG files. You can now create graphics and photorealistic objects using 3D parametric meshes. This includes shapes like cubes, spheres, and cylinders. It's like having a digital playground for your visual effects.
These updates show Adobe is serious about integrating AI into its tools. It's all about making the editing process smoother and more efficient. But will these new features be enough to keep users from switching to other platforms? Only time will tell.
