Amazon has just opened a store where nothing costs more than $20. This new service, called "Amazon Haul, " is available in the US through Amazon's app or mobile website. It's a move aimed at competing with popular low-cost shopping apps like Shein and Temu. The store offers a variety of fashion, home, lifestyle, and electronics products, similar to what you'd find on these rival platforms. Dharmesh Mehta, Amazon's vice president of worldwide selling partner services, explained, "Customers want great products at very low prices, and we're working with our selling partners to make that happen. "
The layout of Amazon Haul is similar to its competitors, with a focus on affordable pricing and catchy banners like "crazy low" on item listings. Most products will be priced at $10 or less, with some as low as $1. Amazon encourages customers to fill their baskets, offering discounts of five percent off orders over $50 and 10 percent off orders of $75 or more. Shipping costs $3. 99 but is free on orders over $25. However, delivery takes one to two weeks, suggesting the stock is imported directly from Chinese manufacturers. Amazon believes its customers will be okay with the longer delivery time if it means they can shop at ultra-low prices.
